2nd Performance in prison in Volos – 2020

The second performance, which took place on June 30, 2020 was designed and implemented within the second cycle of three-hour workshops during the 2019-2020 academic year. Utilizing all the data collected through the practices of the workshops, the content of the event was inspired from the life stories of inmates. The participants performed ‘athletes’ in the “track of life”, who have experienced different kinds of racism and discriminations, as a result of social inequalities. The road they take was difficult and they had to face multiple forms of challenges. Managing, finally, to reach their destination, they articulate a voice, protesting against social inequalities and injustice. The performance was attended by young prisoners, University members and members of the prison staff (such as the Director, social workers, teachers, and prison staff).
